Long after the last human vanished, the world didn’t die — it evolved. From rusted factories, broken data cores and flooded archives, something stirred: instinct sharpened by intelligence, muscle clad in brass. In Ferrofauna, animals rose not as survivors, but as successors. Nations of beavers, wolves, foxes, mice and more forged new ideologies, driven by ancient machines and visions of dominion. Steam’o’cracy: Beasts of the New Era is a strategic, modular, asymmetric board game for 2-6 players set in a post-human, steampunk world ruled by evolved animal factions.
